The Power of Persuasion

I am presently taking some courses, furthering my life and education in personal growth.

There is one lesson that keeps coming around, and it is getting louder to me, that is the profound importance of understanding the difference between a fact and someone’s opinion or belief.

The upcoming election is an excellent example of the difference between facts, opinions, and the power of persuasion.

A few years ago, I took an in-depth course on the power of persuasion and how it works. It was a very uncomfortable eye-opener, yet it was an experience I needed to help me stop getting caught up in lies and manipulation.

Let me give you an example of persuasion. When anyone keeps telling the same story over and over, especially when it is not true and has been proven not to be accurate, that is a form of brainwashing, and it is highly effective.

Another form of persuasion is making something that is harmful sound like it is good—playing on the emotions-feelings of others.

The goal is to capture the emotions and control the mind (thoughts), which controls the actions of others. Once the storyteller owns/controls the feelings and or the mind of the listener, the listener will blindly follower the storyteller disregarding any hard facts.

Intelligence and or reasoning get dismantled. To put it, in other words, the results are people will end up believing a lie over truth!

There are many ways persuasion can be used, and all forms are subject to the intent of the user.

Manifestation and Disappointment

Working on manifesting your desires can some times be accompanied by disappointment. I am going through a bout of disappointment at the time of making this video.

I wanted to share some things I do to help myself get my vibration back up into manifesting mode. Also below you will find a chart of emotions that I use to help me gauge where I am with my vibration.

I work on keeping my energy in the levels of one to seven with the goal being joy, freedom, love, appreciation. This chart was created by Abraham-Hicks, from the book “Ask and It is Given”

Blog- Are You Doing Something New?

Have you ever started something new? A new job you have never done before, maybe a new project, or even a new class, and found yourself saying, “this is hard? Or I’m not getting it?”

Guess what? It is not hard, it is just new, and your brain needs time to adjust.

When I was learning some new concepts-beliefs, my brain kept spitting the new ideas or concepts back out.

My mind is programmed to reject anything that does not feel right according to what my current belief is. This behavior comes from the part of our brain that is called the Reptilian Brain.

We create a fortress of beliefs that govern our lives. It took me pondering the new concepts-beliefs and accepting them to allow in a new understanding.

The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance. …Nathaniel Branden

So, if your thinking of taking in some new information, give your brain time to adjust. Remember, your belief system is what’s being challenged.
