Picked Up Ben’s Remains

Ben two days before he was put down

We picked up our dog Ben’s remains this past weekend, that was tough. These past three months have been hard because it has been such a dark time with the animals being sick.

Even though we know our pets are still here with us because energy never dies, the lack of touching them, caring for them and Loving them and they loving us back, we deeply miss.

The house has a weird silence I can feel from the lack of the animal’s energy not being here in the flesh. The odd thing is I remember this feeling when my parents passed.

I was in a different state when my mom died, yet I could still feel that weird silence that lack of her spirit in her physical body here on earth. It is incredible how we are so connected, even when we are far apart. It gives me a gimps of understanding into how twins are so connected.

For me, night time is the hardest. I find great comfort in tucking my family in at night and knowing everyone is safe and sound.

My cat Princess use to be in her favorite sleeping place on my husband’s chair, curled up in a ball. Ben use to sleep on the floor next to my bed. I would give him a big kiss on his head and say good night to him, and he would hug me with his head nudges.

I told my husband that I feel like I am missing half of my family, and the truth is I am.

Even though we just lost both of our long time pets to cancer unexpectedly back to back, we still find the glimmer of hope in the pain to help keep our vibration high- JOY-HOPE-LOVE-GRATITUDE

R.I.P our beloved friend

The Loss of Our Pet’s

It has been a while since I have blogged other then my store blog—what a crazy past few weeks between this Cov.19, sickness, vacation and losing our pets.

Princess 14 years old

A few weeks ago, we found out unexpectedly our beloved cat Princess had a nasty form of aggressive cancer, squamous cell carcinoma; she was terminal.

About five or six weeks after Princess was diagnosed and put down, we unexpectedly discovered our dog Ben had a nasty form of intestinal cancer; he lasted three days after we found out he was diagnosed.

Three days ago, we had to put Ben down, and it was gut-wrenching to lose both our pets so close together and in the manner they died.

I know there nothing we could have done for either of our pets, but I have been looking back at how so many of the cancer symptoms mimicked aging or a bad tooth, which we thought was wrong with our cat Princess.

Princess started sleeping a lot and eating less, and she lost some weigh. These are all typical signs of aging.

We notice Princess started gagging, at first we thought it was hairballs, so we treated for that.

Then one day, it appeared Princess had a bad tooth. She started drooling a little, and it had become hard for her to eat and drink.

We made an appointment at the vets, and in the three-and-a-half days, we had to wait for the appointment Princess went downhill rapidly. She was unable to eat or drink at all; she lost, even more, weigh, and she started hiding to sleep.

By the time we got her to the vet and she was diagnosed she was on her way out. We put her down and her passing was peaceful.

Ben 13 years old. Pic taking the day before we put him down.

Ben started sleeping more and became fussy with what he ate. Some days he ate his regular meals and others he would only eat certain things, and yet other days he would not eat at all.

He, too, played less and didn’t act like himself. He stopped meeting my husband at the door when he came home. Ben didn’t get excited when we tried to give him his favorite treats. And often time he would not stand to eat.

What caused concern was when Ben suddenly started drinking a lot of water and peeing all the time. This behavior didn’t seem to tie in with an aging dog.

Ben started throwing up at times and coughing a lot. The coughing was concerning because of a fatty tumor he had on his neck.

Ben had several fatty tumors that the vet was not concerned about, except one that had the potential to cut into his windpipe if it got bigger, which what we thought was happening.

Before taking Ben to the vet, we discovered blood on Ben back end; we also realized after examing the area in the woods where Ben went potty, he had a few bloody bowel movements.

Ben’s last check-up found him in excellent health for his age that was six months before he was diagnosed with cancer.

When the vet took X-rays, she found a lemon size tumor in Ben’s small intestine. It was clear it was cancerous due to the symptoms. The vet put Ben on prednisone, which is a substitute for chemo for dogs.

The prednisone did help a lot, the problem came when Ben’s bowel became blocked entirely, and he started to suffer. It appeared he had not had a regular bowel movement in a while. It was now a matter of a couple of days before his colon would rupture.

The vet said Ben’s health would never of allowed him to have surgery and even if he did, it would be a matter of a 4-6 months before Ben would pass away.

I wish I could say putting Ben down was a peaceful experience, it wasn’t. Ben had an adverse reaction to the strong sedative, and he struggled to breathe as he was going into that deep sleep.

The whole thing was traumatic for Ben and us, but at least Ben is now at peace and with his favorite cat-Princess.

We had both of our animals cremated. We are waiting for Ben’s ashes to return.

My Mission, Will You Join me?

Thanks for stopping by.

Thirteen years ago, I stumped upon a company that offered people access to legal help 24-7. My husband and I were taken back by what this company was making available to the public! For us, at the time, it was a new concept.

Once we used our Legal membership and accessed all the benefits, we saw and felt the power of having a law firm at our disposal. My husband, and I have never looked back!

Fast forward thirteen years, I am blown away with the amazing transformation of this company. Today the memberships offer so much more!

The Power of Persuasion

I am presently taking some courses, furthering my life and education in personal growth.

There is one lesson that keeps coming around, and it is getting louder to me, that is the profound importance of understanding the difference between a fact and someone’s opinion or belief.

The upcoming election is an excellent example of the difference between facts, opinions, and the power of persuasion.

A few years ago, I took an in-depth course on the power of persuasion and how it works. It was a very uncomfortable eye-opener, yet it was an experience I needed to help me stop getting caught up in lies and manipulation.

Let me give you an example of persuasion. When anyone keeps telling the same story over and over, especially when it is not true and has been proven not to be accurate, that is a form of brainwashing, and it is highly effective.

Another form of persuasion is making something that is harmful sound like it is good—playing on the emotions-feelings of others.

The goal is to capture the emotions and control the mind (thoughts), which controls the actions of others. Once the storyteller owns/controls the feelings and or the mind of the listener, the listener will blindly follower the storyteller disregarding any hard facts.

Intelligence and or reasoning get dismantled. To put it, in other words, the results are people will end up believing a lie over truth!

There are many ways persuasion can be used, and all forms are subject to the intent of the user.

My Homework

I am presently taking a course with Mindvalley called Be Extraordinary. I just finished a course with Mindvalley called Limitless.

This is part of my lesson that I shared in the group from day 4.

Day 4 – Mindvalley course: Be Extraordinary” – Kensho and Satori moments.

Keto Mint Chocolate Walnut Candy

Keto Mint Chocolate Walnut Candy

I wanted to share one of our favorite Keto desserts we discovered playing around with some ingredients we had on hand- Mint Chocolate Walnut Candy.

This candy is so easy and quick to make, and the big cookie sheet we make the candy in last a full week for three people eating a small piece every night for dessert.

I used the following ingredients

  • One pound of organic or regular unsalted butter. (I usually use organic unsalted, but in this batch, I used regular butter)
  • 1-1/4 to 2 cups of organic cacao powder
  • 100 % organic unsweetened chocolate
  • one or two cups of organic Pyure stevia blend sugar. (Do this to your taste)
  • 2-cups of walnuts at times more. We like a lot of walnuts in our candy.
  • 25 drops of peppermint oil (do this to your taste)

Note: Prepare cookies sheet with wax paper

Melt the pound of butter… Add cacao powder and mix well…add sugar and mix well… add peppermint oil, mix well.. mix in walnuts, stir well… spread out on cookie sheet and when cooled place in refrigerator until the candy hardens.

Pondering Flesh and Spirit

I have been deeply pondering what I consider to be truths from the ancient Scriptures or ancient wisdom…

I ask myself, Am I tattered to the world and its ways or am I born again?

John 3:5 – Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God or the Universe is a spiritual world. I see myself living in two worlds.

Jesus was all about ascending to higher levels spiritually, that was what he was trying to explain to Nicodemus.

Jesus was also about non-duality. Nowhere does Jesus said it was he and the father. Jesus made it clear the Father and He were one. Jesus said to make them one as we are one.

And, I will go a step further, Jesus made it clear we too were gods. Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods?

Jesus was a demi-god both man and god and so are we. The question is today, right now which side of me wins, the flesh-man or the spirit-god?
